I'm Back - Is Biotech?

I took a hiatus from writing this blog and, in the interim, I shut down my paid ChangeWave Biotech Investor service a few weeks ago.

I'm back on this Blog because biotech is still, arguably, the best long-term play in the market -- while service was shut down because buy and hold advisory services are not exactly kicking down the door with potential subscribers.

In the coming days and weeks I am gong to review many of the recommendations I made in the paid service, give you my thoughts on how these companies are faring and once that is done, I will be exploring new country.

So, my regrets for being so quiet for so long, but the silence is over.

In the coming days, I will be reviewing Gilead (GILD), Curis (CRIS), Cerus (CERS), and Cepheid (CPHD) -- to being with!

The large cap biotechs have easily outperformed the market, emerging and early stage biotechs have for the most part been crushed, and the question du jour is when will this end? I believe this trend -- cash rich, debt free biotechs doing well, little guys getting creamed -- will continue as long as their is market instability and problematic credit markets, so at least another six months.

So stay tuned -- and join the debate on whether biotech is back -- but that doesn't mean you can't start thinking or nibbling now.

See you soon.
